Bavubuka Foundation has always been known for it's historical ground braking, innovative and creative approach to empower young men and women to use hip hop as a tool of self expression and  liberating education.

Gilbert Franks Daniels Bwete is one of those young men whose dedication and  commitment  to the movement has showcased new ground breaking ideas for the creative indigenous hip hop community both on a national level and internationally.

The Ug Hiphop Archivist is a indigenous luga flow movement inspired collective of hip hop creative writers, researchers Journalist and photographers who are committed to archiving, preserving Uganda's Golden indigenous hip hop history, celebrating the past present and future. 

Our mission is to create youth driven platforms  in Uganda  that showcase the contribution and  influence of indigenous hiphop both in  the rural and urban settings. 

Hip hop has redefined the youth voice in various sectors of our community we believe by committing to celebrating these milestones we will be setting the standard for our generation to deepen their knowledge and insight to continue using hip hop as their tool of practise to revolutionize self and their communities.

Our commitment is  to celebrate all contributors to Indigenous hip hop in Uganda and acknowledge our young community leaders who have worked tirelessly to build hip hop movements that have engaged our generation to raise up and discover their voice in Various creative expressions.
