We
discussed issues regarding the state of hip hop in Uganda and the
world, looking at how this kulture has empowered and inspired young men
and women to become a movement of advocates and community peace builders
and most importantly how it has reconnected our youth generation to the
idea of preserving our culture and celebrating our traditions.

Through the series of THE BAVUBUKA REGIONAL INDIGENOUS HIP HOP FORUMS
we were blessed to witness the great desire of many youth wanting
to engage in opportunities that give them a chance to be fully resourced
to grow, thrive and build their community. It's with this observation
that we as the Bavubuka Foundation have chose to support these young hip
hop communities By providing them access to our new initiative called
the Bavubuka Community Indigenous Hip Hop Entrepreneurship Fund
established to provide start up capital for self sustainable hip hop
community initiatives that will also loan out funds to its members for
development of their own projects.
